You have reached information page for our July 1st auction.

We will have items for sale via a verbal auction starting at 1:00pm. Other items will be available for silent auction bid between 10:00am and 1:00pm. The silent auction will close at the start of the verbal auction. The winners of the silent auction will be announced as soon as the results are tabulated. All bidders on the auction must be present at the conclusion so that the successful bidder can pay for their purchase and take their plants/items home.

If you are not going to be in town, you can still participate. You can either send someone to bid for you, or you can make a "secret" bid. The secret bid will remain a secret until the auctioneer has declared an item "sold". At that time, the secret bid will be opened. If the secret bid is higher than the "sold" bid, the secret bidder will win.

To participate as a secret bidder, follow the following steps.

1. Write a check to POPPA for the amount you are willing to bid. Write separate checks if you are bidding on more than one item. Please put the item number in the Memo field of the check.
2. Write a note and identify the item number (from the auction list) that you are bidding on and the best way to contact you if you are the successful bidder. Be sure to include a phone number where you can be reached and indicate what you want us to do with the check if you are unsuccessful.

Don't see anything on this list that sparks your interest? We will have new stock going into regular inventory the day of the auction. So even if you don't see something on the list, come out anyway and see what exciting new items we have and enjoy some lunch with a glass of wine or beer.
