Help us Grow!

Recycled Gardens (RG) and POPPA, Inc. have truly been discovered by the plant- and animal-loving public in Oregon. This means we're seeing more shoppers every day we're open at RG, but also receiving more calls from needy animal caregivers than we can afford to handle.

What can be done?

We've decided we need to expand our nursery stock by growing our own plants from seeds and/or plugs. This means we need to finish building our greenhouse, which takes money, money we don't have because we've been giving it all away to fund spay/neuter surgeries statewide. So we need you, our plant and animal loving supporters, to help us grow!

How much will it cost?

We've already got the frame and worktables, a donation from some generous folks in Tualatin, so the conservative figure is $3K. With that much we should be able to purchase the boards and hardware to frame the greenhouse and install the fans, the plastic cover, the gravel for its floor, and drip irrigation.

Anything else?

Well, yes, we'd also like to set up an automated drip irrigation system for our existing 2+ acres of nursery stock. Think of it! No more pleas for volunteers to help with watering all Summer long. Sending us a wee bit of cash to automate the watering at RG will alleviate any guilt feelings you might have about going to the beach or lazing around your backyard instead of coming out to wave a watering wand at Recycled Gardens.

How much?

We're thinking approximately $2K for materials alone, because one of our regular customers has volunteered to install it for us-- what a guy! So PLEASE, help us grow and reduce our volunteer workload!!! Even $1 will help, and remember, it's ALL tax-deductible!   Help with a donation today.
